Art leasing
Leasing contemporary abstract art allows a space to evolve.
For hotels, restaurants, offices and curated residential projects, rotating artwork can introduce renewed atmosphere without the need for permanent commitment. It allows interiors to evolve over time, remaining dynamic and responsive while still anchored by original work that brings depth and presence.
I offer a flexible art rental and leasing programme within the UK, designed for spaces that value materiality, quiet impact and considered visual identity. The paintings available for lease are original mixed media works, primarily on board, developed through layered processes of accumulation and erosion that create rich, textural surfaces.
Commission for Leasing
Alongside private commissions, I also accept commissions intended specifically for art rental or art leasing within the UK. This approach is particularly suited to hospitality and commercial spaces requiring a tailored response to scale and context, while retaining flexibility.
For commissioned works created for lease, a 50% creation fee is required at the outset. This secures the development of the piece and reflects the time, material and studio investment involved.
Lease payments are then structured so that this creation fee is proportionally offset over a twelve-month period. For example, if a painting is leased for three months, one quarter of the creation fee would be absorbed within the lease agreement. Over twelve months, the full amount would be offset.
At the end of the lease term, you may choose to continue leasing, rotate the work, or acquire it at a preferential rate. This structure allows a painting to be developed specifically for your space while maintaining long-term adaptability.
How it works
Selection
We begin with the space. You can browse available works online or contact me directly to discuss scale, tone and context. I can advise on which paintings will best anchor the room and respond to light and material surroundings.
Where possible, I provide installation visuals to help you imagine the work in situ.
Installation & Display
Once selected, the artwork is delivered and installed for an agreed period. Lease terms are flexible and tailored to the project, whether short-term staging or longer-term placement.
Works are professionally prepared and ready to hang.
Rotation or Purchase
At the end of the agreed term, you may choose to rotate to a different piece, extend the lease, or purchase the work outright.
Leasing offers a way to experience the painting within your space before committing to purchase.

Who is the art rental programme for?
The programme is designed for UK-based hospitality venues, commercial spaces and interior designers seeking original contemporary abstract artwork that introduces atmosphere and architectural presence.
What sizes of work are available for lease?
Available works include medium and large-scale contemporary abstract paintings, suitable for both intimate and more expansive interiors.
Can leased artwork be purchased?
Yes. Should you decide that a piece has become integral to your space, preferential purchase options are available to clients who have previously leased.

Works are delivered ready to hang. Installation arrangements can be discussed depending on location and scale.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing varies depending on the stated purchase value of the piece, length of lease period and additional considerations; including insurance arrangements, framing adjustments, delivery location and any rotation schedule.
All terms are discussed transparently at the outset so that the structure is clear and proportionate to the needs of the project.
How long is the rental period?
Lease terms are flexible and agreed according to the needs of the project. Short-term staging and longer placements can both be accommodated.
There is a minimum lease period of one week. Paintings may be displayed for a shorter period if required, but the minimum one-week fee will apply.
